PestRoutes is the category-leading vertical FSM for pest control. Founded in McKinney, Texas in 2012, the product was acquired by ServiceTitan in 2022 and rebranded as FieldRoutes. The original PestRoutes brand is still recognized in the pest-control industry, and the underlying product continues to serve commercial and residential pest control operators with route-density optimization, chemical application logging for EPA compliance, recurring service contract management, and multi-branch operations. Lawn care is a secondary vertical that the platform has expanded into.

Pricing

The vendor does not publish list pricing — all tiers are quoted custom. Industry reports place typical seat costs in the $150–$250 per user per month range depending on scale and module selection. Implementation typically takes 60–90 days for multi-branch operators.

When to consider PestRoutes / FieldRoutes

PestRoutes is the defensible choice for commercial pest control operations above 10 trucks, particularly those with EPA Section 7 chemical application reporting requirements, multi-state operations, or route-density optimization needs that generalist FSMs cannot match. GorillaDesk is the lower-cost alternative for residential-only shops under 10 trucks where chemical compliance burden is lower. Jobber handles pest control workflows under 5 trucks at a fraction of the cost but requires workarounds for EPA reporting.
