CopyThat

Overview

CopyThat is a dispatch and scheduling board for service shops with 2 to 10 trucks, sold by CopyThatHQ Communications LLC. According to the vendor, technicians do not install an app or log in: a job dragged onto a tech’s column on the board goes out as a text, and the tech replies OTW, HERE or DONE to update the job. Other replies are saved as notes on the job. The vendor says the board works on any phone that can text.

According to the vendor, CopyThat does not do invoicing, marketing or GPS fleet tracking, and its terms of service say it does not track technician location. The vendor also says shops larger than 10 trucks have outgrown the product.

This is a documentation-only listing. We have not signed up for or tested the SMS workflow hands-on, and the claims above come from the vendor’s own website and terms of service (effective October 1, 2026).

Pricing

According to the vendor’s homepage, checked on 2026-10-22, pricing is a flat monthly tier by technician count, never per user:

• Free: $0 for up to 2 techs and 40 new jobs a month. Techs are not texted automatically on Free; the shop sends each tech a link.
• Starter: $49 per month for up to 5 techs.
• Growth: $99 per month for up to 7 techs, with texts sent under the shop’s own name and automatic customer ETA texts.
• Fleet: $149 per month for up to 10 techs.

The vendor lists a launch sale of 50% off the first month and a refund of the first payment if requested within 30 days. It says texting customers under a shop’s own name depends on carrier registration, which can take up to 2 weeks to approve. The vendor’s /pricing page returned 404 on the check date, so the figures come from the homepage.
