Business Process Analyst
Description

Field Service Software IO is hiring a detail-oriented Business Process Analyst to document, visualise, and optimise the end-to-end workflows that drive our clients’ Field Service Management (FSM) and field-ready ERP initiatives. You will capture current-state processes, identify bottlenecks, and develop data-backed recommendations that feed directly into software selection, configuration, and continuous improvement engagements.

Responsibilities
  • Lead discovery sessions to map current-state processes, data flows, and pain points

  • Develop swim-lane diagrams, process maps, and RACI matrices using Visio or Lucidchart

  • Quantify baseline performance and build KPI dashboards to track future gains

  • Analyse time-and-motion studies, cost drivers, and service KPIs to model ROI scenarios

  • Translate findings into clear requirements documents for consultants and architects

  • Support user-acceptance testing by converting requirements into test cases and success criteria

  • Contribute process-improvement articles and benchmark reports to Field Service Software IO’s content hub

Qualifications
  • 3+ years in business analysis or process improvement for field service, utilities, construction, or manufacturing

  • Proficiency with BPMN or similar notation, plus experience in data analysis (Excel, Power BI, or Tableau)

  • Solid understanding of at least one FSM or ERP platform and its impact on service workflows

  • Strong stakeholder-interviewing, documentation, and presentation skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or similar certification is an asset
